About MakeSetlists

This project came out of personal experience. Anyone who has ever performed on stage knows how much confidence a well-prepared setlist gives you. A folder of printed sheets works fine — up to a point.

Paper is not always easy to read on stage, and preparing lyrics and chords for yourself and every other band member is a whole extra job on its own.

MakeSetlists was built to solve all of that. All you need is a phone or tablet stand, and you are ready to perform.

How it works

You add your songs once — paste in the lyrics and chords in ChordPro format, or type them out by hand. Then you build as many setlists as you want by picking songs from your library.

When it is time to perform, you open the setlist and switch to performance mode. It is a clean, distraction-free screen built for reading lyrics and chords on stage. Auto-scroll, adjustable text size, quick song switching, and other controls are all within easy reach.

No internet required on stage: songs and setlists are saved to your device in advance while you are online.

MakeSetlists requires a Google account. Your songs and setlists are saved to the cloud, accessible from any device, and safe from accidental loss.

We are not trying to build a big music platform. We just want to give musicians a tool that helps them feel confident on stage.
